Tranny options

1999 Lexus SC300.

What are my tranny options?

Boost Logic says that the 98+ trannies are different than pre 98s on the SC300 and are weaker / electronically controlled.

Does that mean I need AEM to control it - the shift points?

Can I swap the auto tranny from TT Supra (98?)

Can a shop build mine?

I'm thinking You could swap in a TT transmission and let the stock ecu control the transmssion. You may not have to switch to AEM for control.
You would have to also swap in the TT bellhousing, converter and a different drive shaft. You could use one from the SC400 or go custom one-piece. My 2c

K the reason I said that I believe the TT tranny can be controlled by the 98+ SC ecu is because, the 98+ SC300 transmissions are controlled electronically, the same way the TT transmission is.
The transmissions are not the same, just controlled the same.
The TT tranny is physically shorter in length and has a different tail section, different bellhousing and converter.

Does anyone know if a haltech e6k can control auto trannies too? Or how well a standalone could even control an auto tranny?

I'm thinking about picking another one up.

Dont know about the Haltech, but the AEM controls the auto well. Its what I use with my TT tranny.
