Hey guys...
New to Na-t Forums extremely interested in the t61 kit..
i drive a 98 N/A supra, heard mixed things about the vvti model though and mine juz happens to be under that, whats the max power the 98 vvti supra would be able to handle from a t61 kit and what additional equipment do i need to make sure my baby dont blow up!

You will need to have an AEM FIC and a wide band gauge. Other than that you will need to nothing much more than the kit because the stock auto is good to about 330 which is about 9 psi so you can keep your stock HG and injectors and be pretty happy.

You might also want the TRD GEN2 exhaust I stock, that would sound nice.

Its a 5 speed manual, already got a hks cat back on it, heard the internals wer different on the vvti models though, is this true, i want to run more than 9 psi so i'll need a head gasket

VVTi has different internals, this is true, but you can easily push the motor to 450whp without any problems. I'd go for the HG and injectors, and boost to about 15-17psi with tuning. It will be a lot of fun. Post pics of the car please, esp the enging bay. Does it have an open diff or LSD?
