W58?? How much will it handle??

Building my NA-T and was told I'll need to swap out my trans. How much power will a W58 substain? I've heard everything from 350hp - 450hp kind of a broad range, can anyone narrow it down a bit?

W58 is hit or miss, some work well to 600 some crap out at 400..... sorry, I just broadened your range. The upside is they are cheap and easy to find.

I say they are good to about 450. They are great unless you spin out alot. Your tires catching tears up trannies. So start off light and once you get a bit speed romp on it and you should be fine.
