eventually when i save my money, i want to get the xs turbo kit[im in high school], i have already been doing my research and saw basicly what i need besides the kit, to my understanding i can make 300-330RWP running on stock HG boosting 8-10 psi on 91 octane gas? i have been doing all of the preventitive maintenince on my sc but dont want to stress the old motor too much, it has 170 000, and its going to be my dd so i want it to be as realible as possible and will have a budget of 2 grand pushing it, thanks in advance

I suggest that you monitor knock on 91 octane and 9PSI for tuning with stock compression. The safc2 has a knock monitor built in, which is a great tuning tool. As far as miles on the motor, it's just about broken in now, so now worries  time to put the screws to it. Pick up a few cheap spare trannies though if you're on stock auto :0

I've got several 250K+ mi customers making 450WHP..... just a great job toyota did when they designed that 2JZ!

I bought my XS kit not too long ago from Mark. I have a 95 SC300 5spd. I didnt have anything done to it, not even an exhaust. I put down 334whp on the T61 kit. pushin 9psi. Its a great kit and the car responds great
