I know this is not a turbo honda but I am looking at building and all motor ls crx and walk past STIs and shit. I was looking and getting type r pistion and and milling the head with mabye some I-beams and getting type r valve and springs do you think that I can do all of this with a stock LS block?

Honestly an NA B18 is not going to be walking past STIs. Unless you do some crazy sick build that will cost you alot of cash then maybe, but realistically no. You might have a chance at keeping up with them (a stock one) after your build. Keep in mind you can throw on a GSR or B16 head on the LS block for VTEC and also a CR-X with a stock LS and a good driver won't get you into 13's (assuming you want to hit 13's to keep up with STIs and such).

......... dont waste your time using oem pistons and valves.. if you gonna upgrade.... UPGRADE !!!!!!...
honestly IMO..........
If you wanna walk past evo's and impreza's * stalk ones of course you gotta remember all they need is down pipe and booster's to drop acouple of seconds * anywho *
with the ls motor ... utilize the motor for what it is... torgue, and low end power. cheap/easy way out... and not by any means cheating... ****( induction is induction ) **** N20.. --> NITROUS necture of the gods.. remember.. a well keep b18 can handle about 75pounds of n20 w/out mods, make sure you gap your plugs often.. say every 2 weeks. and never over do it. there's a reason why their's a redline on your rpm gauge..... the redline means your not making anymore power and it's running dangeriously high on rev. so0o unless you build your head, or entire motor there's no need to play in the red zone **( after heavy mods, is a good time to get a huge tach cuzz after any major mods there's no garuntee that your stock tach is gonna read correctly.) whoa i got side tracked...
yeah a crx with a strong bottle feed LS motor will zoom right passed those fish outta water. remember they are 4wd. and will sling shot right out of the red light.. so0o practice on your launch.. or better yet get an ignition system with acouple stage rev limiters and sling right with them.. hit the botton... and quote johnny tran from the fast the furious... " to0o son jr " and after you win... they will ask.... what you got man... tell them stock HF. and they'll be so pissed hahahahaha. * personal experience.

we need a good NA-T honda page here, something that really goes. I'm happy to see some honda people here showing clubna-t that they don't all fit the stereotype. Unaturally Asperated, as much as you want to go all motor, the honda is so cheap to build, why not boost it too?

it'll be nice, but honestly i dont know how the overpowered 2jz. can handle the shock... most of them are high and mighty. and wouldn't want to be on the same lvl as us simpleton.

Sounds like you're sterotyping 2jz owners. We at ClubNA-T are car enthusiasts that like to build turbo cars. Whether the car be a 2jz, honda or chevy.

I just bought my high comp kit from http://www.fjdistributors.com and their stuff is really nice... i had to have my rods narrowed to fit the pistons on my B18a1 but it's coming together nicely and should do pretty well at 11.4:1 :+)

Not that end of the rod...The wrist pin end is too wide for the Type R style pistons. It's just a simple matter of shaving the rods a little.

There are 2 ways to cheaply beat sti I know this is forever old! dohc zc turbo rods/pistons 12/15lbs of boost and h22a1 50 shot of nitrous. Either way 3k ish and both cars pull hard!!! I have done both i prefer the zc as its cheaper to replace though I do like the gearing on the h22 trans not to mention lsd option ooo and the revs!!!
