I'll be posting it as soon as it starts. Ive got the interior gutted right now for a tan to black change, other then that Ive got to get my damn gto sold. Im debating now if I wanna keep my car the same color or not, its a dark blue, not sure on the name of the color.

Its called Midnight Indiglo Pearl (8J5). I think its a great color but its not rare by any means. You should go ahead and post up your interior change. It would really help the forum out.

Thanks for the chart, I think Im gonna leave it the same color and just do a respray with the 97+ bumper and get all the little dings taken out. I'll see about getting some pics here soon of the interior stuff.
BTW, Your car sounds mean as hell, I didnt have sound at work so I couldnt listen to it til I got home tonight. I like that little lope from the 272's. Is your exhaust 4" all the way back?

Got my motor and trans out yesterday. Debating whether I want to leave the ABS in or not, I love the engine bay nice and clean. Trying to find me a decent painter to do some work for me soon. Also got my supra seats in, and an IS300 steering wheel to put in it, now I need to order the dye so I can start on the interior and I need to find someone with black carpet that I can pick up.

There arent that many helpful sites. I would suggest you get the electrical wiring diagram book. It's help me a lot.

I've owned it for about 3 months, bought it stock, so far just wheels, springs, rotors, exhaust, pioneer double din and custom junk in the trunk, motor is slowly but surely. What time do you go, It's been so long I don't even know what time it opens/closes, Is is tnt this Friday?

Just thought i chime in on the okie thread.
I have owned my 95 SC3 for a little over a year now, havent had the chance to do anything to her yet but drop her some. I have been enjoying my mk3 supras, but have finally sold them and im thinking of turbo'ng the SC now.
Found my self a stock TT kit, might put them on the sc, but awaiting on a little more info on the swap of what else is necessary to make it run right.
hope to see all of you around!

wtf! Lol
Congrats on the purchase then. Who's going to tune it?
96blksc300
10-31-2010, 01:38 AM
well just got done doing some street tuning (afr only). Cleaned up a loooot of drivability issues and the fuel maps out of boost. Still have a erratic dieing at idle every once in a while... but thats b/c the scaling that is in the current tune doesnt go low enough in vacuum to fix it right now. Working on getting it rescaled without having to retune all of the fuel map. Was mostly trying to make sure there were some safeguards in place for overboost and fuel/ign cut, rev limiter and so forth along with getting some better dd gas mileage and driveability. Noticed that the car has ABSOLUTELY no timing in it either :( so no WOT runs till i get it on a dyno to finish the tune and address the timing issues.
It will prob go to a shop outside of Little Rock here called Polk Performance. They are quite versed in the sc300/supras, so it should go without a hitch. And the staff are good friends of mine.
The biggest headache so far has been that i had to rewire the ems setup. I dont know if maybe he had a piggy back on it before or what, but there were all kinds of splices and t-taps and butt connectores at the ecu plug. I pulled the ems out of its mounted place to get the serial number and model number off of it so i could get all the correct software/instructions downloaded, and i guess i "upset" some of the wiring lol. Had to shake the "nest" of wires before the car would start lol. All thats taken care of now... feel like i'm getting somewhere!! I'll feel much better once we get it on the dyno and get it all ironed out.

Sounds like you're getting everything taken care of. I wish I would have looked at the car more closely. The wiring would have made me a bit nervous...

How's the transmission holding up?
96blksc300
11-02-2010, 12:31 AM
transmission is doing great. we did do a lil rescaling on the auto maps.. the values were so close together that it made the tranny "hunt" for a gear when just cruising. other than that, which is fixed now, the trans is doing great and doing what its supposed to ... laying down pairs of black marks for 20yrds or so at the 1 and 2 shift lol.
