I am wondering who is running a big shot over 75.
Wonder what the output would be with a
2JZ-GE
HKS Cams
Head gasket/arp head studs
Header
custom Intake manifold/throttle body
full exhaust
fuel upgrades
lighter flywheel/clutch
Direct port 125shot
single fogger or dry 50 shot
Yes both as in a 2stage nitrous system.

I'll post since no one has responded.
Running a 75 shot, thought abt 125 but I dont wanna be one of those sob stories blowing my motor. Maybe if I had a emanage to retard some timing. But I dont.

bump talked to NX tech and he said I should go 2 plugs colder and should be good for a 100 shot. But in order to give correct jets he needs the fuel pressure at idle and WOT.

How small can you go with direct port?
I've seen 75 shot direct ports before.... its more or less a money and install thing. Direct ports cost more and are more of a PITA to install than a typical wet shot. No point in a direct port on the lower shots either, might as well save money and time and get a wet shot for the small shots. (unless you plan on running a big shot later on)
stock FP is 43psi at idle IIRC

No reason to go small, weak motor?
I think with direct ports its 150 shot or higher.
Only reason i'm even considering the bump up to 100 shot is because the NA intake manifold is less likely to puddle and distributes pretty evenly.
finally a plus :fingersx:
Jaxsc3 - sent ya a PM, think i know what u mean.

Someone clue me in on how ur compression ratio can be affected by nitrous?
for instance, I have T61, and im na-t pushing 7 psi. However, Im on stock headgasket (and fuel, other than a Walbro)
Would i be safe spraying a 50 shot, or do i need the headgasket before I do that?
Thanks guys.

save ur money for 2.5 headgasket
more potential for power there.
then you can really crank it up.
Not really a big turbo to help spool up.
Spraying a 50 shot would be perfectly fine. In fact a 75 is fine too. I've seen plenty of 100 shots on bone stock 2jzs too.
Just make sure its a wet kit, and get the other boltons to maximize your potential.

Yeah, i'm runnin NX Wet 75 shot in a 92' sc400 w/ custom borla exhaust, short ram intake, Dragon T.C., and ls 400 brakes for the stop.
I didn't retard timing or colder plugs, thas why i stayed under 100 shot, been runnin this setup for about 2 months now, went thru about 6 - 10lb. bottles, and final result is she apparently loves the happy gas, no ping, knock, or detonation that i can hear w/ windows up or down. Shit i'm happy, except for that i had to start closing the bottle when not in use, must've been a very slow leak.
Formula:
100 shot 0.8lbs of nitrous per every 10 seconds of use
(Purge jet is slightly bigger, just take in account)
Let me know any other nitrous stories and i''ll keep ya'll updated on the status of my Happy Gas, Peace yall,

Try to go away from dry(fogger) systems because it is better to mix(boil) the fuel w/ the nitrous before meeting the cylinders, that way the oxidized fuel is aspirated thru the intake, not just the oxidizer.

i personally did a 300 single port wet shot on the N/A auto tranny and everything is fine on my motor I only have an 3" greddy exhaust system, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, no intake, and 117,000 miles on the clock. just make sure ur motor is tuned.
