need some help

Hi, I'm swapping a 2jzgte into a lexus. this is a jdm motor and it's not coming with harness or ecu. I wanted to know what I would need to make this work. will US harness and aem ems be all I need? aem uses the map instead of maf so I wanted to confirm if this is all I would need. Thanks in advance.

You would be better off starting with a USDM Supra TT harness. You will have to modify the body plugs to work with the Lexus. Good Luck

thanks for quick response. so US TT supra harness and aem ems and I wouldn't need any other sensors would I?

You will need the typical AEM sensors including IAT and MAP sensors. Does your motor have the stock sensors on it?

it should have the sensors. I'll double check before buying the motor.

What are your plans with the car?

Since its a JDM motor it will come with smaller cams, smaller injectors, and shitty turbos. If you're going AEM, Im expecting these things to change in a big way :)

yea, definitely. I want to get this running for now which is the plan heh. but later down the road I want to go with bigger cams bigger injectors and a single big turbo. haven't decided yet what turbo to go with.
