What are your thoughts on the NGK IX Iridium BKR6EIX spark plugs? I was planning to use them for my NA-T project at 7.25psi on stock compression and timing for now. Also, what is the ideal gap to run for my application? 0.035?

don't the iridiums last longer?
more resistent to fouling.....? Yes. An Oreilly Auto Parts employee told me not to regap iridium or platinum plugs becuase the coating on the plug gets ruined and it does not perform properly... :fingersx:
They come gapped at 0.0444, but a few persons recommend I regap them to 0.035 but I haven't heard of ONE SINGLE person successfully gapping an iridium spark plug without ruining it :owned: . Can I get away with using the block at it's stock gap of 0.0444 with my NA-T project (10:1 compression, stock headgasket, 7.25psi boost)?

Its not too difficult to re-gap an iridium plug - just dont pry on the electrode and handle it very carefully.

I use the BKR7EIX. But my low boost is 18psi on 8.5:1 compression. I regapped mine to .035. Like someone else said just be careful not to damage the electrode.
