ok i went from 5 speed r154 soarer and 8.2 at 91 mph with a 1.8 60' and now with the stock n/a auto i ran a 10.1 at 80 mph with a 2.8 60' sucks huh. i just found a th350 with a 2500 stall convertor and can get the adaptors and all done but my question is.. why is my 60 so shitty and the auto off the line and stuff shitty? my gearing is still 4.27. what is the best one for what i want. i drag it at a 1/8 not 1/4 and not too worried about 160mph runs. i could just nos it off the line but what gearing should i get to make it crazy sickly fast in the 1/8 with a nice 60'..

how high.. and what about gearing.
i was thinking a 3500 stall but will it boost launch or no? i have never dragged an auto and i am clueless. i start spool on my turbo at 2800ish and want to get back down to 1.8 60 footer or lower but i thought i would need a trans brake th350/400 or a high stall, brake load it, and or nos off the line but will i build boost on the line load braking?

sold it for 2k..lol kinda regreting it now.. i have a thread on here for the part numbers to order the conversion for the supra r154 to make it a soarer...far cheaper.

You need a higher stall on your auto tranny. 2.8 is RIDICULOUS for your setup and I honestly don't see why its so high. You want to get a stall based on your turbo's spool...when do you see full boost on your turbo?

why? is 2800 too high? i start seeing 0 boost at 2700ish but full 3400 i guess. i will get a def answer later today. i was thinking about a 3200 stall. i can get them made for less than 300 with shipping
