My project american (79 Corvette with 2jzge NAT and ethanol) has kinda hit a snag in planning. What is the surefire formula for Ethanol? Ive so far come up with these ideas during search

AEM
1600cc injectors
steel braided fuel lines
Alcohol fuel filter
Fuel pumps?(will standards walbro/supra pumps work with alcohol?)
fill up factory gas tank with ethanol and then dump after sitting to clean out fossil fuel varnish and tar inside tank(read this, true?)

This is what all I have collected regarding ethanol, but as with it being internet articles whats true is often hit or miss. Anyone have any direct experience and can lend a hand?

you will need an injector driver for 1600cc injectors. From what I understand, 1600cc is good for roughly 1000whp.
make sure you get the correct steel braided lines that are compatible with ethanol. Some arent.
walbro and supra pumps are on the verge of being tested. I have heard the Supra pumps work great with ethanol but sketchy on the walbros. I would look into Bosch 044s.
I would bet the fill up and dump is BS. Ethanol contains gasoline so I dont see a reason to go through all that nonsense.

If I were you I'd go with nothing short of a weldon pump. Otherwise you're going to starve those injectors pretty quickly without at least 3 walbro's. Weldon pumps are good with any fuel.

i knwo a few ppl who have done e85 conversion, the e85 will remove the varnish and crap out of the tank,at most u may go threw 1 or 2 filters

Lots of guys are running E85 here in their Civics, Supras, DSMs, Evos. Stock lines or just braided stainless lines with teflon coating or whatever, and just the avg walbro 255lph hp. No problems. The single walbros seem to be maxing out at about 460ish awhp on a dyno dynamics, 550whp on a 2wd dynojet. These are on DSMs from what I've seen. A supra made 720whp (dynojet #s) with 1000cc's and twin walbros, that max'd out the injectors . Nothing fancy on these cars...

Yeah your going to need dual pumps if your going Walbro (or similiar) for that much HP
as someone mentioned Im sure 1 Weldon would handle 1000hp of E85
you got everything else covered (1600cc inj, stainless fuel filter, and tuning)
I had to add about 25% more on the low-end & 40% more (than reg. petrol) for WOT.
I would just replace the stainless steel fuel filters, because it will take a more than a few tanks to clean everything out.

Don't need to worry about the teflon lines. Pretty much any fuel line out there will be fine with ethanol. It is just the older natural rubber that you have to worry about.

Friend of mine made 820 uncorrected on dual walbro's on E85 and 1600cc injectors, and I am sure they were pretty maxed out.

You are not going to need an injector driver for your injectors unless they are low imp.
