I had the W58 on and decided to go the track today. I was debating if I should run the slicks because I was afraid of breaking the tranny, but in the end I decided to run the slicks. I got in 3 passes, I didn't have much luck launching very well, the lag of the GT42 is pretty bad, I didn't have the anti-lag set up inthe AEM. The first pass I wasn't sure what to expect, so I launched it real soft (2.2 60') the car goes out to the 60' mark before the turbo spool, then when it does spool it spins in first gear and is instantly in the rev limiter. I get 2nd gear, it takes a bit of time to come back on boost, then hit 3rd gear and get through the traps around 7000rpm. I ended up running a 12.39 @ 133.5mph. I decided to try the nitrous set up as a spoolup shot on the next pass. I had it setup so the spray comes on at 3000rpm, and then shuts off at 19psi of boost. I launched slightly better (2.1 60') and then the car started blubbering... it wouldn't run more than ~4000 rpm. I still haven't figured out the problem but for some reason it went pig rich. Around mid-track I opened the center console and un-armed the nitrous, the car ran clean again and ran a spectacular 15.27 @ 123mph. No time to mess with the nitrous, so I just shut it off and tried to launch a little better without it. The final pass I cut a 1.90 60' rowed through 1, 2 and 3rd gear and went through the traps at near 8000 rpm, running a 11.02 @ 137.2 mph. Overall I wasn't too dissapointed, the mph was pretty decent, and I ended up driving the car back home.

Depends how tolerant of a chattery clutch you are. :-p It's ok, you get use to it after a while and can take off from a stoplight pretty smoothly. It's irritating at first until you figure out how to drive smoothly with it.
