has anyone tried a aem fic on a 1jz swap? i know they are for obd2 setups but it seems others have run them on other setups.

i want something that i can tune with based on boost. the safc2 i have now will work but my tune will be all messed up when tuned based on rpm.

i want to remove fuel cut.

i dont want to spend a ton of money.

so will the fic work? :dunno:

fic does not have the ability to remove fuel cut. I think MAPECU1 is still a better solution for you as long as your OBD1.

that car is already MAP based, right? If so it should work, but there might be better solutions (emanage blue/ult). FIC is really designed to work the intricate limits of the OBD2 ECU.
