as the title says im looking for help in identifying if these are truely GTE internals- pistons/rods/rings/bearings. does anyone if there are any specific markings or codes that will help to ID GTE internals. no OEM part numbers are available

since you are somewhat local, why not take a drive over to TITAN MOTORSPORTS and let them help you identify them?

well i dont actually have them yet. these pics are from the seller. im looking to buy these from someone and i wanted to get a little advise before i make the deal.
i thought GTE pistons were dished? i'd post them on supraforums and you'd get a better answer... in the mkiv section of course

Damn I called it first! I want a quarter!

I thought dished pistons had NO valve relief indentions on them because they were lower compression pistons (and werent close enough to the valveface to cause a problem anyway)

Nope, they still have the valve pockets cut into them.

cutting material away from the face (creating a dish) reduces the compression ratio..... 8.5:1 in the TT motor.
Those are TT pistons.
