I'm asking because my Motor has 200k on it. I was looking forward to adding a turbo setup.:out:

I would do it, if the engine breaks get another engine and reuse the turbo kit on the new engine. Why spent money on an engine now if the one you have still runs good.

Usually the mileage is no indicator, it has more to do with the maintenance. I have customers with almost 300K on their 400WHP boosted motors and no worries. If you have it tuned properly and the motor has had clean oil in it for most of it's life then you should have no problem.

Do a leak down and compression test on it along with full diagnostics. That will tell you what you need to do. Take it to a dealership or a tuner and he can do all that for you easily for cheap, and go from there.
Other than that, they are good until they split in half.

I just bought a kit and Im sitting right at 224,xxx miles. What I might do is swap out the block when I do the hg swap, but Im still up in the air about that.

Good to know. I plan on purchasing the rebuild kit but I just though while I was in there I might as well. Compression ran 195-200 on cyl 1,3,4,5,6 but 175 on cyl 2. The guys that ran it didnt feel that a rebuild kit would solve the problem, but I didnt get the impression that they knew much about the 2JZ.
