View Full Version : Window not moving with switch, pass. side wont go down?

ok so i applied 12v to the motor today and it worked, got the window up. So its not the motor or actuator....and i have 1 driver side switches the do the same when i press the buttons....they make a buzzing noise and try to lock the doors???
any ideas??

I think i had a similar problem. check your connectors and wiring. make sure there is no interference with them.

This happened on a buddy's SC. After you would wash the car, the window switch would stop working but once it dried, it would work again. Water was getting in somehow. Drive around with the windows down for a while and see if the switch works again.

i really dont think its wet window has been down for about a month and i finally got it up...guy who i bought it off of thought it was the actuator...

I had the same issue and found a broken blue wire in my doors harness in the section of wire when you open the door. Since the wires move when the doors opens and closes, it must have worn out. Replaced it and works great.
