Hello everyone. Love the site. Figured I'd introduce myself along with some pix of my car. It's a 2001 turbo charged Lexus IS300. It has been t/c'ed for about 6 months now. I installed the kit myself along with the help of some fellow IS300 owners on various forums. This car is a blast to drive and it will only get better. Right now I have a Turboeast Sport Turbo S2 kit. My future plans include ARP head studs and 2mm gasket to raise the boost. After that I'll work on the outside by adding a RMM front lip & side skirts, coilovers, and a staggered set of 18's in glossy black. I'm currently in Germany for the next 2 years (US Army), so when I get back I plan on dropping the car off with Jeff at Turboeast (http://www.turboeast.com/) for some more upgrades. Enough with the chit chat on with the pix......

Thanx guyz. Brown Duck the only time I have ran into traction problems has been after it has rained. I have another tranny with a valve body upgrade that I have not installed onto the car yet. So I haven't launched it from a dead stop yet.

Wow!! You have a very nice car. How much HP and TQ are you getting and at what PSI? I really want to install my turbo kit myself, but I'm still slightly unsure.

I haven't had it dynoed yet. However I did race a BMW 650i coupe (360hp). We were pretty much dead even until I hit 140. After that he was long gone. I'm running boost off of the wastegate spring which is .5 bar or 7.5psi. Installing a turbo kit is not hard just time consuming. I bought a pre-tapped oil pan & pre-wired ECU/Greddy e-manage harness which made things a lot easier. Every thing else pretty much bolt on & solder(sp?). If your ever unsure about something that's what we're here for :wavey:
