Well I have finally got my car to the stage where its running well and drivable.

Car is a JDM '94 JZA80 SZ Supra manual.

Engine is a Single turbo 1JZ VVTi from a '96 JZX100 chaser, I wanted to do the entire conversion myself from start to finish, in the hope id appreciate it more, learn't a lot about the car was well worth it.

W58 is retained, i have a spare ill see how it holds up.

Extras include,

Exedy heavy Duty clutch
Greedy Power Extreme II exhaust
Fluidyne Radiator
HPI 3" dump pipe For JZX100
HDI GT spec Tube and fin Intercooler JZA80 model
HDI Evolution Boost control / Gauge
TRD Short Shifter


To be fitted
Turbo Smart Dual port Blow off valve
HKS EIDS Pro
Autometer Cobolt Volt/ oil Press/ AF gauges
Carbon Fibre Air filter shield

very nice. i heard rods are weaker in vvti. push it and let me know.i would love to see some dyno numbers too

No, they use the same rods as the Earlier 1JZ-GTE, but a different piston, resulting in higher compression.
