View Full Version : how many people tried this as far as weight reduction/room.

i was bored so i pulled out the whole ac/heater unit. id say with all the lines inside and outside the car plus the compressor. it saved around 40-50lbs. but now i have so much more room behind my dash.

Only for race cars. That would suck on a daily driver

true. well ive driven this car 200 miles in the last 2.5 years. so i guess its not daily. lol

It also kills the resale value.
I need to drive my car to enjoy it. Boosted.
But then again my street/strip mustang has gone abot 30 miles in the last 4 years and I love it

i agree but remember....all the stuff goes right back in easily. i dont ever plan on selling the car either so hopefully this all works out well.
