ok i tried to perform a burn out with my sc300 by power breaking. it worked the last time i did it but for some reason its not working like it should. I held onto the breaks gave it gas til it hit 2k and it stops there it wont go any higher and then i let the breaks go just a little bit and step on it but it still wont go anywhere and it stays at 2k rpm. dose anyone else have this problem??? it doesn't do a burn out it just moves the car.

Found the solution from CLUB LEXUS
It's becasue you're power BREAKING not power BRAKING duh :egads:
what you are doing is actually a torque converter stall test. Normal stall is around 2000rpm for the stock tranny. You shouldn't be holding the brake pedal down for long otherwise you might damage the converter and possibly the tranny. I think you need a high stall converter and a line lock kit and you should be smoking in no time.

I was gonna say...stalling the converter FTL...
