My Story and still not resolved...


Cliffs:
Bought a whaletail wing from Nick Stonawski and after 3wks he finally ships out wing. Turns out wing is damaged and we start a claim with Fedex. Fedex denies claim due to no/ lack of wrapping material. Find out that this isnt the first Issue that 3/4 other people had the same Problem thru Nick himself in a pm. Now left with no wing, they still got my 290.92 and all i keep getting is lies/ bs excuses of how they going to fix their problem. Wanting to come to some resolution and hopefully get a full refund or another wing shipped out.





I bought a whaletail wing from Nick Stonawski and Bryan Householder on August 25th and he agreed he would get it out on me on the 27th. The deal was pretty clear but the package was still processing when looking it up on fedex.com with the tracking number of 532110210003556. After 2 wks i called them about it, maybe thinking it got shipped freight and took a little longer.

Well Nick stats that their wasnt a wing sold to me and that he'll have to see if i got one or make me a new one. Well we go thru a couple pm's and he gets ahold of bryan and it turns out. He forgot all about shipping the wing to me after Fedex wouldnt accept the package because it was too large and couldnt ship fedex ground. So he improvised on the package and got it out to me a week later. Still No problem, a little aggreviating but am pretty understanding.

I finally receive the package and could hear a slight rattle once the fedex guy drops off the package. I open it up and there is a crack at the bottom, base of the wing. I call up fedex and leave a pm with Nick telling him to get Bryan to call me back. We start up a claim and Fedex guy comes up the next day and picks up the package.

Talking to Bryan, i state that i would just want a refund, since am already a month and half in. He said that be fine once fedex accepts the claim. Than i asked him what if fedex doesnt accept the claim what then? Never gave me a clear answer so am like i'll just wait and see. I also find out in a pm from Nick that this isnt the first issue with them shipping out wings/ hoods that 3/4other people had issues as well. Which does piss me off since they neglicted the issue at hand and still didnt take care of their problem.


Fedex denies the claim after another week because it didnt come with any adequate shipping material. Since bryan just wrapped it with a cardboard layer at the end(pointy side) of wing. Which me and my boss would have to agree with fedex since we work in the Parts Dept for a GM here in Norman, OK. I try getting ahold of Bryan and he won't even call me back, Nick pretty much is no help at all and just giving me broken promises.

After some other pms are exchanged Nick mentions to me that Bryan called Fedex up again and he stats that Bryan got them to look into the case again. I called fedex up again since they was suppose to get to me on monday the Oct. 20th and still no pm/call from either of them. Also Fedex tells me that they didnt even reopen or look further in this case since it was closed that was that. Which now they're just feeding me some lies and telling me it takes weeks for claims to go thru. I even ask Fedex about that and the lady tells me it takes a week or two at most.

Really now just would like the refund back but if they want to go with the extra hassle of shipping a wing and paying again for the wing/fees/material etc. i guess thats the way i'll have to go.

That's crazy. What's his SN on SF? I think I've dealt with him and I didn't have any problems.

Same screen name, i posted on SF as well just letting other people know so they can avoid the headache. Over on SM, he sold a couple things and people been waiting a couple weeks to just get their things shipped out.
