i just wanted to give you guys an update and i would really like ideas and input from all of you.

my car is going to be sent to my friends shop next week where my new motor will arive any day. were doing the 1uzfe (lexus 4.0 v8 swap).

completely custom twin turbo kit is being fabricated.

our ideas so far

twin gt30 or gt35r turbos

dual tial 38mm wastegates

ross pistons

apr bolts everywhere possible

these are just general ideas. we dont know what size turbo will fit since im running both turbos in front of the motor (intake side facing fenders)

dual 3 inch straight pipe from front by turbos stretches below motor and around to back

Haha...I'm going to work on it tomorrow after taking like a week and a half break from it...hopefully if all goes well (which it hasn't so far) it will be running tomorrow.

thanks guys im really excited too. i sold my whole ge motor. all i have left is the w58 which should be going soon.



i just talked to the shop and they said the dual exhaust is a for sure. the problem is i dont want dual exhaust on my supra. its just not normal you know. but they said to unleash the v8 as best as possible they reccommend dual 3" with no cat/mufflers. it will be so loud will it even matter if i run external open dump pipes. cant i just get internal wg than.

if anyone can chime in id appreciate thoughts. thanks

well they wanted to do exhaust coming out the side but i think its a horrible idea. i will settle with dual for performance but if i ran mufflers its not like i can run dual 4 inch cans. it will look too crazy i think

damn iuz twin turbo. you should check out clublexus, there are a few brave rich guys who've done it.
