extending harness

hello, i was wondering if anyone has seen pics of a jdm harness that has beed extended and would kind enough to post a link. i hear of people paying a mechanic or so and so to extend the engine harness to fit u.s. spec cars but i was wondering if all what is needed is a soldering gun and some patience. thanks.

Should just need soldering gun, hella patience, good organization, and a lot of heat shrink tubing.

no i was talkingi about the 2jz...well if that's all then i will just have to get busy doing the extension myself.....nothing can be lost...if i succeed i will post pics and problems that i encounter. if i fail, then i'll just have to order the u.s. harness. thanks for your help. if you find photos somewhere on the net, let me know...i would like to know if it's the main section only that needs to be extended. i do think it will be quite a few wires however, and will take a considerable amount of time. i'll post eventually how things go. take care.
