Well, i had these pictures and figuired I'd post them up...

a former collegue and friend of Lance @ Toyomoto, along with Lujan Motorsports in Miami, Florida, built up this beautiful 1998 Quicksilver Automatic NA....according to a post on Supraforums, the car ran a 9.98@137

yeah, I took those pics when I visited the shop way back in January 2004...

Not sure whats up with that car these days.....sure is nice

Wow, I haven't seen this car for a long time. Very well done car, I'm pretty sure I still have the video saved of the 9 sec pass it made.

I have a 1998 VVT-i NA supra and im goin NA-T soon. I'm going to need a standalone do u think i shuld get that one or like an AEM EMS??

they do not make a harness adapter for the VVT-i motor for the AEM..

depends where you are located, there might be a local Supra shop that could help you...

Wouldn't the 98 use the same AEM harness as the IS300, if there is even an AEM option for the IS300?

as I said, there is none for the IS300 or non turbo Supra/SC300 (2JZ-GE) family

has to be custom adapted....

sure, custom wire harness neccesary for install....where are you from??? perhaps a local tuner could help you

Hey my friend just tryed to put a AEM EMS into his 98 NA like this one but he said he is having problems. There is 5 harness plugs on the 98 ECU and only 3 on all the other previous models. Is there a way to custom wire the AEM or does he need a whole new ECU intended for the VVT-I with 5 harness plugs?????? (Maybe one for an IS 300, a specific model would be great)

That car has been around the block. It was on Autotrader about 2 years ago maybe. They wanted a mint for it. I think it has a salvage title if I remember but I could be wrong.
