This is a follow up to a thread I posted on supraforums that didn't get much attention, hopefully you can can put me in the right direction. :thumbup:

Well, ever since I installed my SAFC-2 (3-4 months ago), the CEL popped on. Everything ran fine, but the light was on.
Well, im throwing two codes.
Code 42- Speed Sensor Signal
Code 55- Knock Sensor Signal (rear)
The car runs decent, it feels pretty stumbly under boost, and I am getting terrible gas mileage.. Could this be due to the knock sensor?
What exactly is the Knock sensor? Pulls timings as far back as it can go?

Alright, so I checked out the rear knock sensor wire on the ECU the other day. I looked, and It was tappped in real ghetto, which may be causing this....Heres how it is.
ECU>>>>clear wiring coming out>>>wrap wire around some other wire you have lieing around>>>>wrap wire into the SAFC wire...
Thats how mine was. Im getting a knock reading on my SAFC, and always have been... so...?
I was too pussy to pull the whole wire out of the ECU, because i was afraid i wouldn't be able to get it back in.... I tried to use a different wire that i had to connect the SAFC to the ECU wire, that didn't do anything...
Since the SAFC is one of the only things I havent personally installed on my car, (SUCK at any wiring), give me some tips in detail on how to do this...
You guys think i have to rewire the whole thing? How do I get the wire out of the ECU, just pull it?
Do you think it would be better for me to just take 1 wire all the way from the ecu and connect it to the safc2 wire?
BTW, this is hooked up to the pink SAFC2 wire... is that right??
PICS and speaking like ur talking to a 2nd grader would be great, too.
