So I'm doing my timing belt tomorrow, and I decided it would be easier if I chopped all the extra crap out of the service manual pages, and add a few things to it. The pictures and stuff on the net are nice, but I need raw data to get it straight in my head. This is also easy to print off and have with you when you do it, and it has all of the torque specs. Well, timing belt went according to those directions. The only thing I did different was remove the intake and the water pump pulley.

No, I didn't replace the water pump. My Saturn water pumps have lasted 160,000 + so there's no reason this one won't last at least that long. Besides that, if it does give me trouble, this job wasn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be, so no big deal.

BTW, I bought a Toyota belt instead of using that after market one like my previous timing belt thread. When it was cold out, the after market belt got hard as a rock.
