Random TV question

So yeah, I have this OLD 19" Phillips Magnavox TV in my dorm room. Awhile back I put on that SMARTLock thing which is like a child protector thing, but then I lost my TV remote so I use my Phillips stereo remote which has no numbers. I found out we have free HBO here, but I can't watch it because it blocks it...but I have no way to enter the code because I have no numbers on my remote, so is there anyway I can reset it so I don't have that stupid parental block on it so I can watch HBO?

Get a universal remove, problem solved. I used to have an old cable box. I lost the remote for it. I bought one at Radio Shack.

They have this "test mode" shit. It'll just go through all of the codes until it finds one that works with the unit. Of course you'll be wasting like 3-5 hours going through all the codes.
