my motor finally came in today and as i was looking at the headers i decided that its best for the setup to run dual exhaust since ill be running a twin kit on the 1uz motor. this pic is a rough idea of what we are going to do. i will have 2 carbon fiber titanium mufflers in the centre if they fit. if not i will will be forced to no use them or change the design.

**note** thats not my car because i dont have the diffuser yet. i will buy it if i think the mufflers will fit from the specs i get.

give me honest opinions. im trying something new so haters welcome.

I'll put it this way. UNless its a boxteser exhaust tips should not be in the center and close together like taht. Make em SC stoyel especially ona supra. and on tha t note becuase its a supra you need to effin go single tip or at leats do some exhaust cutouts.

Yes twin exhausts, but why dont you try exiting them somewhere through the back bumper that would be different

I think it could look good, I probably wouldn't mount two mufflers in the rear under the diffuser. It might look better to have the mufflers underneath the car somewhere and just have pipes coming out in that location under the diffuser. I think it would look alittle :riaa: to have two mufflers side by side there, but just having two exhaustg tips there could look cool.

kinda like this

sick video.

i was thinking to do it like that. the shop wanted to do side pipes. i didnt like that idea. the reason i wanted mufflers is so i can run the carbon fiber titanium tip version which will look nice i think. maybe i shouldnt even use that diffuser since it doesnt even give me any space to work with really. what if i do something like this.

yeah good point.

i found some carbon fiber wrapped titanium tipped mufflers. i searched everywhere and other than the hks carbon ti muffler which is like 300 for one i searched on ebay. im not sure if i should spend 600 on mufflers or just buy an ebay muffler which is the same shit since the exhaust is being made anyway.

what u guys think?

Well I guess if you can find a way to tuck them up under the rear somehow...I'm just afraid it will look like a Supra shitting out mufflers if they are hanging to low. :dunno:

why are you using a 1uz motor?

Think about removing the stock fuel tank and installing a fuel cell in the back?? That would give you more room to put some dual center tips / mufflers there.

If not, comming out the rear to each side would look sweet ;)

im running a 1uz single turbo setup. i was doing twin turbos with 3 inch dual exhaust but it was too complicated so the design is now going to be a single with 4 inch full exhaust splitting to 2 3 inch mufflers in the rear.

i tried to design a side exhaust but the gas tank is there so either i mount in stock spot or mount 2 in center and hopefully they wont hang low.

how much would a fuel cell cost to do.
