Im thinking about going with the Boostlogic turbo kit with the t61 turbo. My current set up on the car is just a greddy catback exhaust and an intake. I have a new HKS bov laying around that im going to use with the kit, since it doesn't have one. Now for the questions:
1.When installing the FMIC, is there any cutting involved of the bumper support or anything like that? I know on my wrx i had to cut alot of shit to make it work.
2. I know the kit comes with everything needed to run.. but should i get a SAFC to help out also?
3. The T-61 turbo, is pretty big, is that a good turbo for a NA set up? Also, does the BL kit come with the vaccum lines needed? And are there any write ups on how to install one of these kits?
Thats pretty much all the questions i have for now.
Thanks for your help

You will need an SAFC to tune the car after adding boost. If you jump up in size in the injectors you may need to match a Lexus V8 Maf to it.......

This is what I didn't like about some of the kits on themarket. In my definition of a kit, it should be something that comes with everything necessary to bolt-up and make the car run. I don't like the idea of needing an SAFC and other misc things to get the kit to run because it's not a kit then.

Actually the boostlogic kit is well put together, including all the small little details. I believe they didn't include the fuel management so that you were able to choose which one yourself. And as brown duckz said, the car would run without the fuel management, just poor as hell.

so as far as my questions..lol.

Minor cutting on a small metal bracket located on the stock radiator support is required. We will have the install instructions for the Boost Logic FMIC uploaded onto the website later this week.
2. I know the kit comes with everything needed to run.. but should i get a SAFC to help out also?
Depending on how much power you want to make, we can supply you with the necessary electronics. Each kit we send out is custom tailored to the customer. We recommend a fuel controller for our base kit to tweak the air/fuel ratio.
3. The T-61 turbo, is pretty big, is that a good turbo for a NA set up? Also, does the BL kit come with the vaccum lines needed? And are there any write ups on how to install one of these kits?
The turbo included in the base kit is sized to be efficient up to 450RWHP. As I mentioned above, each kit is custom tailored to the customer. We can size the turbo smaller or larger depending on your goals.
Give us a call at the shop, 512-371-9960, or shoot us an email and we will help you turbocharge your vehicle.

1.) I didnt have to cut anything on the car to install the FMIC but I did have to custom fabricate a bracket for the bottom between the mounts.
2.) yes
3.)The T-61 is plenty big for the power you are looking for and no it does not come with the vacume lines needed.
Here is a link for the basic install-- http://www.clubna-t.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61
