GTE head on GE block

Has anyone swapped a Jap spec gte VVTi head onto a GE block? If so what is required. Ive searched but the only thing I can find is where its been done on SC300's and Supras with non vvti.

Ive got a GTE intake mani and throttle body I was planning to use with a turbo setup. I guess I could use the GE head if I could fabricate the lower runners onto the gte manifold. I just figured that a head swap would be easier.

i wouldn't change it to a gte head, then you'll still have your weak shortblock. i would just do the aristo vvti engine swap if you REALLY wanna go with the GTE head etc..
