Can someone please let me know where this hose connects to the motor?

It goes behind the motor to the idle air control motor to the rear of your intake.

Thanx for the info. Unfortunately I have another hose without a home that comes out of the back of the block.

This is where the hose connects to...

It was originally connected to the heater valve.

just route that one over to your heater
