Yo--
Im rebuilding my car right now in my garage, and I was wondering if you folks knew if the VVTI GTE intake camshaft would work on our cars. I know the Exhaust one does for sure, as its non VVTI, but i dont see what the Intake side wouldnt work either.
Anyone know?

i'm sure nobody has tried before on this forum....
I know for a fact Toyomoto has used stock GTE cam shafts before.....eliminating VVT-I though

yea, i know you can use any camshaft if the goal was to keep VVTI in tact and keep the stock ECU happy.
I want to know if its possible to run the VVTI GTE intake cam and still keep the ECU happy.

Hopefully it will work out just fine... I know the exhaust side will work perfectly fine and will definetely help, but im more curious about the intake side. If it works, that will be awesome, if it doesnt, no biggie, ill remove it in a couple of hours and place the stock unit back in.
If it works, I will definetely post up on how it goes .
