Oh no! The "supra TT fuel pump" upgrade is not as plug and play as a I thought  . What did you all do to make it fit the stock NA clip? This is from a 1995 Lexus SC300 5 speed. Help from you more experienced folks would be much appreciated since my car HAS to be running in a few hours :fingersx: .

Stock NA Fuel pump = LEFT. Supra TT fuel pump = RIGHT.

Slip a piece of fuel line between the fuel pump and the bracket, and then wrap the fuel pump/bracket with a hose clamp to keep it in place.

1. When clamped down with hose clamps, will the fact that the fuel pump outlet doesn't exactly match as nice as stock with the metal fuel line matter? The rubber connecting hose will have 2 small clamps on it anyways...

2. There is a little inner wire exposed before this black box. Is this okay or do I have to "fix" it? (only the outer insulator of the wire was sliced a bit and you can see the inner wire.)

well it's not really a big problem. It has a very easy solution. I bought the pump for ~$60 shipped to my door. The SS hose clamps were <$2.00 from pep boys. So, I saved a little cash going with the supra tt fuel pump. After talking with other folks, that exposed wire is not a problem since it's a grounding wire. Fuel pump installed and now just trying to get the car started again.

No. The Walbro kit is the best solution. The stock fuel pump harness plug, plugs directly into the new Walbro unit and it mounts perfectly. I have no clue why people use the SupraTT pump. Getting it used only saves about $20 anyways.

Walbro is louder and $20 more :hay:Marginally. Once in a while a dud will be extra noisy.
But the walbro is also abrand new upgrade from the TT pump. Then again I'm also a cheap bastard so I understand
