just curious as to how much power has been made with the 1jz swap????Do you mean after some BPU upgrades? I haven't seen all that many dyno sheets......... I'm hoping to make 320rwhp with a full exhaust and increased boost.

I have seen 270 280 to the wheels stock boost 10 -12 psi front mount and downpipe and 3 inch exhaust. Have dyno,ed more than one with simulatr results. Also be prepared for speed cut at the dyno during4 th gear pulls.

Roughly 245hp 255tq on 9psi with the stock SC exhaust. I really need to find time to do the exhaust. The chart just goes flat at the top end.

I know a guy here with a 1JZ with a big single, safc II, elec. boost controller, and some sort of Supra exhaust making 490whp with about the sam torque (I think).

Um... I think stock 1JZ injectors and Walbro pump and that's it.

Um... I think stock 1JZ injectors and Walbro pump and that's it.The stock 1JZ fuel system won't support 490rwhp.

Hrmmm, well I don't know then. I know he has a Wlabro pump for sure, I guess he has 440's too? I'm not sure, the next time I see him I'll have to ask.

there we go kiddies, that's what daddy wanted. Now keep it coming.Back to your topic. The stock twins should be able to make roughly 350rwhp with supporting mods [intake, exhaust, intercooler] @ 1bar of boost. I wouldn't go any higher than this for the turbo's sake..

wow guys dont get too optamistic. the 1jz has huge patential but the stock turbos do have some trouble up top. here are two links to some respectable sorces for ya'll to check out. and dont forget these dyno runs were done in Australia so they are in kW not Hp.

the second link is only that owners first set of mods dont forget to cheak out the other 2 stages that are in the links on the left
enjoy
What's optimistic? Its absolute realism, I've seen multiple dynocharts from cars here in the USA., Supras and Soarers alike.

Its not a truck is it? :) There was a 84 Turbo Toyota truck my friend had... who sold it to another friend... who promptly swapped in a 1jz and retrofitted a T70 onto it with a nice nitrous shot. Trying to be cheap about it (since it was just his toy), he used stock fuel with a rising rate regulator running a ton of extra fuel pressure up top.... dynoed around 400whp and used the 1jz auto tranny with an upgraded converter... ran pretty quick.
He sold it recently and bought a Lightning (from the same friend who sold him the first truck lol)

ok sorry my information was half corect. the charts i found are corect and the conversion is corect. but aparently australian dynos are dyno dynamics or some slightly different type that once you convert to hp you then need to add an extra 50hp. which would put those #'s inline with you estimates. so sorry for the inaccurate post, i didn't learn about the difference til today.

Naw, it was a black/tan SC300. But he WAS running the stock SC 5 speed (not the Soarer) and he said it held the power fine! I was pretty shocked. I say "was" because the car was for sale, last I heard.
