NOT NA-T but still fun

after WAY to long I got time to stab the new motor in the bowtiestang and take it to the track... After 6 runs the slowest all motor past was 11.61@119 and the fastest 11.21@122.8. My slicks are SHOT...4-5 years old and dry... best 60 foot was 1.65..should be 1.5. I need to do some carb tuning and such but she should run 10.90's here in Tucson on the motor....then I will play with the juice...now the only question is how much....my kit can spray 100-300hp on each of two stages.

Now that I got the stang up and going again the Supra is getting a TH400 with a brake.....because I am DONE with Toyota automatics

Nice. What part of Tucson are you in? I'm at the base of Mt Lemmon. Do you ever meet up with any other NA-T'ers locally? I'd like to join sort of club here.

I live near gates pass road. The street scene in Tucson is now a joke...I dont now of any other NA-T and the last GOOD care club here died about 1991...

It is still holding the power under 15psi.. when I turn it up at the track it isnt too happy...I would like to run the car at 20-22psi and 100 shot of nitrous out of the gate....the 340E will not hold up long like that.

The best 340E will never work as well as a TH400. I will bet the car will pick up over 1 sec in the 1/4 with the trans swap alone..

I got the Stang to run 10s (10.97) all motor:) here is a vid from the same day but this run was a 11.03.. I was boycotting the Supra until my car ran a 10....sooo back to the Supra:wink:
