I am soon leaving for the Marine Corp and will have a nice little signing bonus coming my way. I have to do some repairs to my car, but as soon as thats out the way, I am wanting to put a turbo on my car. only thing is my transmission that came with my car is only good up to around 400HP, so i can' really do anything crazy just yet.

Would the boost logic kit that is for the SC300 work with the GS300? and would that apply to the tranny as well?
Or are there any other reputable sites that have good kits and tranny upgrades other than Turbonetics?

Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard there is less engine bay space for aftermarket turbo solutions on the GS300. So, not all 2JZ-GE turbo kits will fit your car.

I havent seen many other 2JZ cars, but the space on the GS seems like its more limited than on the others as far as the intercooler is concerned

now that maybe true but i think turbonetics has a kit listed for the GS whish would come with a Spearco FMIC.

If BL does not list it for the GS its probably because it wont fit, I would look into the turbonetics if it infact does work on your car.. or you could also check out on Club Lexus and see what the other GS guys are doing to go turbo. Good luck man

not many people are going turbo kits at Cublexus. theres like two guys that are going the 2JZGTE route tho, and only one actually has the turbo installed ATM.

What are the thoughts on the Turbonetics kit? ive heard some of the parts that come with it are cheap and not the best. So how hard/much would it be to get the parts seperatly from that kit and just replace to lower end parts with better ones?

And does the GS share the same transmissions as with the NA Supra and SC300? figuring i would get the upgraded transmission from Boostlogic or SP

The problems with the turbonetics in the past were because of the manifolds back when the company was "fmax"

But that was quite a few years ago and turbonetics has since gotten a new manifold and has a better more reliable design.

Take alook at SCNA-T's car... he's running a turbonetics setup
