about to finally nut up and swap everything in. so just to make sure i have everything id like someone who has done the swap to go over this with me once more...... what i have right now tt auto tranny (boostlogic built) tt auto flex plate, built tt torque converter (lextreme is the shizznit), and of course the sc400 drive shaft. is there anything else?? i know there is some wiring required so also if any one has the diagram or can tell me what needs to go with what. also taking a look at the tranny the guy didnt include any type of electronics besides the plug ins directly connected to the transmission itself. thanks for any one that can help.

Are you converting from NA auto or from NA 5-speed? Make sure to get new flexplate bolts. What are you using to control the tranny? AEM?

Cool, then the only wiring you need to do is for the converter lockup, and the variable pressure thingie (technical terms there). Err, wait. Which AEM are you using (na or tt). At a minimum you'll need to run a wire for the variable pressure thing, the lockup might be fine if you have the TT AEM.

Hmm, I just checked the wiring diagrams and there are 5 solenoids in the TT tranny and only 3 solenoids in the NA tranny. The solenoids that shift the tranny (1, 2 and 3) are identical between the two tranny's. You'll have to wire up solenoids 4 and 5, which takes 4 wires. The manual doesn't explain exactly how solenoids 4 and 5 work, just that they control line pressure, throttle pressure, lock-up pressure and accumulator pressure. The cable on the NA tranny takes care of those things.

thanks dave so i guess ill have to buy the 4th and 5th soleniod from the dealer then just figure out the wires. there was another member that has done the swap himself i wish i could remember who it was so i could get the exact wires... i remember he even made a nice connector for every thing

NA tranny:

solenoid 1 - white/red B10
solenoid 2 - red/lt blue B9
solenoid 3 - black/red B8

TT tranny:

solenoid 1 - white/red B10
solenoid 2 - red/lt bluw B9
solenoid 3 - lt green/black B14
solenoid 4 - yellow/green B13
solenoid 5 - lt green/red B12
solenoid 5 - white/green - B31

yes, solenoid 5 has 2 wires.
