Basically like the title says, its a 93.5 non-turbo 5 speed, it has 185000 miles. When the temp outside is above 90 or so the check engine light usually comes on I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so maybe a way to fix it. Thanks

Are your coolant and oil levels good?
Its possible its the IAT sensor?

Check codes to see what fault is triggering the light.
I'd be inclined to say that its knocking due to the warmer weather. To fix this you need to inspect your cooling system and/or use a higher octane fuel. Its hard to give more advice without knowing what setup you are running.

its bone stock with a k&n filter and full exhaust. It does have a small coolant leak but i keep it topped off, its the same with the engine. Its a high mileage car, i'm just trying to keep it running til i get a gte motor. Thanks for the help I will run the codes.
