egads! change of plans? twin turbo?

Alright, so, here is the deal...I don't know if my single project will work. I already have the turbo and most of the big stuff...but with the SSAUTO manifold not fitting and a few other issues...I may have to try something a little cheaper.

I was thinking about maybe grabbin two DSM turbos, hacking apart the stock exhaust manifold, welding flanges onto that, maybe extend the tubing a bit to get it to fit, and call it a day..

Horsepower levels should be similar if not better than a 3kgt vr-4 with 14b's...and spool shouldn't be that bad either..

Now, I know what you guys are all thinking...ghetto, right? I have my doubts about this, but just for a second try to be open minded and think about how it would work...

Keep in mind, the nuts and bolts for this project are going to be a bit more ie flanges and piping, but welding and such should not cost me anything.

This is just a pondering...honestly, I have my own doubts, and even if I could make it work if I can't make it look good I don't want to even bother...the last thing I want is to ghettofy my SC.

if you plan on hacking apart the stock exhaust manifold, why not just buy an SSAUTO manifold and just re-clock the flange? Seems it would be alot easier since you already have alot of the stuff for goin single. just my 2 cents.

Eh, i looked more and yeah...front turbo fitment isnt that big a deal but with the dizzy in the way it'd be hard to get the front one moved up enough to fit the rear turbo so that it does't hit the firewall.
