tranny ?

i got a 93 auto mkiv that im putting a kit together for and im concerned about my tranny. i plan to put about 650hp down but realistically if i can get 500 down ill be happy i know my auto tranny cant take that. I got a n/a 5-speed box i can use but im not even sure that can handle it. I just wanna know what my options are BESIDES goin 6-speed. Keep in mind i got soarers and mkIII's all over the junkyards here. i see people use the r154 from the soarers but then i see some people say it doesnt work. what do u guys think my best bet would be. I even considered buyin a built auto tranny but cant imagine shippin that over here to japan.

How much are Soarer R154 boxes with the remote shift and JZ bellhousing in your local wrecking yards?

not sure what u mean by remote shift buuut trannys i can get for 250-300 depending on wich yard i go to. but im lookin into the amount of work i need to do this swap and im not sure i really wanna. im thinkin i just want a nice built autobox
