better late then never but i paid 1900 for mine(what the guy was asking..i felt it was worth it so i didnt bother trying to talk him down)
it had a few issue with the OD not working properly(ecu fixed that for 100 bucks) needs new steering racking bushings(39.99) and needed a new rotor but i replaced both rotors with new axxis ult brake pads for 140..the radio didnt work which i grabbed a stock one for 30 bucks and the cluster was half way working so i picked up another cluster for 150 that completely works...so now i have a pretty damn clean car and everything works..very happy with it (still waiting for the bushings they were on back order..
oh yea its a 1992 with 139k miles.

anyway heres a couple pics.

LOL, I guess this thread lives again.

1992 SC300 $800, bone stock, 9/10 interior, 8/10 exterior, auto a/c, but it had a rod knock. Which really isnt too bad, considering GE engines are dirt cheap. I dont really have any pics of when I bought it, and its tore down right now lol..

Looking at two sc400's right now with crazy high miles and a bit of body damage, but I am picking one or the other up for sub $1,000. Planned on doing a tasteful matte black anyway (a real paint job not rattled) so it doesn't matter about the paint.

I'm going to want to go TT regardless of which I take. The 400 is going to be a bitch to do I know that going in.

I paid 4k for my 93' 5spd. The interior was worn and a large rip in the drivers seat. The rims were some oversized 20 inch ugly looking POS. I think I paid a little too much for it but I wanted it soo bad I just paid the asking price.

I traded my busted beat up 97 +1200 for a 92 5speed with 115k. Cluster/Climate control was mint. Sad part it was gray interior.
Hasn't ran in 4 years. Still adding more parts.

I paid $2650 for my '93 SC300 Factory 5 Speed NA-T with BL67 kit....bought it from 16 year old kid who had it for a month and then blew the slave cylinder and thought trans was toast...he traded his nice G35 sedan a month earlier for the car and it was for sale for $9k on craigslist....I couldn't believe he took my offer when he had it listed for $5500....his parents were on his ass so he had to. Car was built right and just wasn't maintained....

Car had:
BL67 Kit
GReddy Type S BOV
GReddy Wastegate
HKS VPC/SAFC Combo
AEM UEGO WB o2
ACT Clutch
Megan Coilovers
Supra TT Front Brakes and Slotted Rotors all Around
XXR 962 18" Staggered Wheels
Walbro 255 Pump, Precision 550cc Injectors
Blitz Dual SBC EBC

I am into the car for about $3700 so far after fixing everything....I have a TON of time and labor in the car though.

It needed: slave cylinder, new control arm bushings, steering rack bushings, new braided stainless power steering line, timing belt/water pump/drive belt, repair wheel harness, alignment, repair damaged ic pipes, repair leaking oil return line, new turbo and downpipe bolts, new hood cable, new headlights and foglights, re-tinted taillights, plasti-dipped wheels, new gauge backlighting and needles, new interior leds, new HKS SSQV bov, full tune-up, bypassed fuel pump ecu, new radio dash kit, new ashtray assembly, new hood struts, and rewired HIDs.....(Prolly forgetting a few more things I had to repair)

Still need to worry about cosmetics and in process of redoing interior...dying everything black, wrapping some pieces in white carbon, wrapping some pieces in suede....

Then once interior is done I'll get it out and work on street tuning it and then doing a final tune on the dyno to see what she puts down....

I bought 2, a 95 sc300 with 160k (running and driving) and a 93 sc300 that's just a roller. I paid $300 for both.
