Largest Injectors Possible To Use With SAFC ?

Hello, I recently finished my na-t setup ( besides my standalone im trying to get )

Im wondering if im wasting my time with trying to tune with my safc or not.

My fuel system consists of a 320 LPH fuel pump, 800 cc injectors, and adjustable FPR.

I noticed when ever i see threads regarding na-t supras with safc's they seem to never go any larger than 550 cc injectors.

Im guessing the stock ecu even with the safcII just can't handle the 800 cc injectors. For the most part under throttle the car sounds good, but idle is nearly impossible when its warmed up.

Im hoping there is nothing wrong mechanically on the car but i've made sure everything is hooked up, i have my timing on 10 BTDC the only thing not connected is the acis valve which i welded in the closed position.

What i noticed is the car on open loop ( cold ) tries to run pretty smooth, But soon as it is closed loop ( warm ) it just wont idle.

Is it possible i simply cannot tune with the safc with what my fuel system is ? or do i just have something wrong ?

I've seem to master this safc II on my 240sx but i feel like the stock ecu is not capable of getting a smooth idle with the fuel system.

Thanks for reading

Kody

The SAFC can only compensate for injectors 50% bigger than what the ECU is tuned for. The 800s are too much for it. Throw the stocks back on, tune for low boost and save up for the stand alone.

Ok, wanted to confirm that.

Hopefully latter today i can get those injectors in. Im sure it will help with those in until i can get the ems.

I was considering just letting it sit for the time being until i can afford the EMS. But im just not sure when ill be able to get it. Unsure ultimately.

Why not buy a cheap wastegate spring somewhere between 5-7 PSI and enjoy the car for the time being. You've got a wide band and an SAFC, grab a buddy, find a quiet, long stretch of road and tune modestly.

My wastegate spring right now is at eight.

Also, the car won't even run when its warmed up. Its like when it gets to closed loop it just dies. Literally right when that temp gauge reaches the warmed up area it just dies and doesn't want to start until its cooled down.

Im thinking about just waiting, because i know the injectors i have are much to large to effectively control them even with the safc and im just not looking forward to taking off the intake manifold once agian. Im used to it by now but i really wanted to use those injectors.
